central location and comfortable room

easy check-inconvenient locationcomfortable roomnoisy bed
I found the staff very helpful and the check-in process easy. The room had traveler-friendly touches including a kettle and tea and coffee. It provided quick access to the central station. I found the location quite convenient and pleasant.
My room lacked outside windows. That was not ideal. I also noticed the music played until midnight. The absence of breakfast service seemed an oversight. the bed made a lot of noise, which impacted my rest.
Rooms
9/10
The room provided coffee machines within easy reach from the bed. The bathroom had great water pressure in the showers. The rooms are very unique, comfortable, and clean, all contributing to a good experience.

a wonderfully central stay

cosy roomunderstanding staffbroken coffee machine
i had a wonderfully cosy room that was spotlessly clean. the staff showed such understanding when i was late due to train issues and ensured i could still check in later. i appreciated their kindness and efficiency in making my arrival smooth despite the delays.
the coffee machine in my room didn't work, disappointing. the complimentary items were virtually nonexistent, and i really missed having those little extras to enhance my stay.
Location
10/10
the location is perfect as it is right in the middle of the city centre. this meant that everything i needed was within easy walking distance, every sight so accessible.
Facilities
9/10
separate entrance doors from the bar offer privacy. this ensures guests needn't walk through the bustling bar area if they prefer direct access to their rooms, this is a plus for a quiet stay.
Rooms
9/10
The room was clean and nicely presented, keeping in character with the building. it was comfortable with everything i needed. The shower had great pressure, perfect after a long day, and the coffee machine was a welcome treat.
Dining
8/10
The pub is great with excellent beers brewed on site. i didn't get any food, but the menu looked good enough. This spot is perfect for an evening drink after a day of exploration!!!
Service
10/10
the staff were really understanding and helpful throughout my stay. they accommodated my late check-in due to train issues and were very friendly, this.
